About Memorymoog

Moog Memorymoog was released around 1982 - 1985 and sold for 1,650,000 yen ( about $14000 ).This keyboard was Moog's first polysynth using key assigner. CPU is Z80 + Z80CTC. Basic synth parameter is like Minimoog. Memorymoog was verion uped in 1984 which called Memorymoog Plus. Memorymoog Plus has MIDI and Sequencer. The sound is not like Minimoog, it has another character. Of course, very very fat sound.

1. KEYBOARD 61 keys

2. VOICE : 6-voice polyphony.

Each Voice contains :

OSCILLATORS :
3 oscillators - range 16', 8', 4', 2'  (range is extended to 32' with transpose switch)
Waveforms - variable pulse, sawtooth, triangular
Oscillators 2 & 3 have dual concentric frequency pots; center knobs for fine tune, outer knob for coarse tune
Sync Osc 2 to Osc 1.
Osc 3 acts as an audio or modulation oscillator, like Minimoog.
Osc 3 rate 0.2 Hz to 8 kHz.

3. VOICE MODULATION

Osc 3 or filter contour can routed to Osc 1,2 Pulse width 1,2 or filter.
Filter contour can control amount of Osc 3 modulation effect.

4. MIXER

Individual level control for each osillator and pink noise source.

5. MODULATION

LFO - 0.1 Hz to 100 Hz. Waveform available triangle, reverse sawtooth,
sawtooth, square and sample & hold. Routing to Osc 1,2,3, pulse width 1,2,3 and filter

6. FILTER

Moog 24dB/oct filter
Keyboard tracking selectable 1/3, 2/3 or full.

7. Contour Generator

Two ADSR type contour generators.
Attack Time : 10 seconds max
Decay & Release time : 20 seconds max
Return to zero, unconditional contour and keyboard follow modes are selectable for
the contour.

8. FOOTPEDALS

Two pedals can be connect pitch, volume, filter, mod amount, Osc 2 pitch.

9. GLIDE

Type : Linear
Monophonic , Polyphonic Glide.
